Absolutely amazing! My husband and I had such a good time, hiking, fishing and sitting in the hammock

Nice place to stay with young kids, lot of outdoor activities for kids! Perfect place to zone out from daily hustle bustle of the city.

I took my boys (8 & 11) here for a mini-vacation and we loved it! The directions seem a little intimidating, however we found the place with no problem at all. The cabin was a perfect size for us, and sparkling clean! My boys also loved the little reading cubby upstairs in the loft. The property is beautiful, and we had fun exploring. The ponds were a hit, with my kids being able to catch a frog and a couple fish! We also saw lots of wildlife - there are horses on the property, however we also saw some deer and other various animals. 🙂 We are already talking about going back again! I definitely recommend this place.

This place is a gem -- beautifully positioned at the base of the Mogollon Rim, very near the Highline Hiking Trail. The Homestead accommodated our large family very well, and the special touches on top of cleanliness, such as fresh flowers and nicely split firewood were icing on the cake. We highly recommend it!

The hospitality by the managers was very warm, attentive and informative. We stayed in the Manzanita, which is a secluded, rustic, quaint and clean little cabin nestling in the pines. So cute with all the essentials supplied! We kept very busy hiking the many trails that led out from the property, seeing a couple of deer an other wildlife, many blooming flowers, the little streams, etc. Outside you could hear Mail Creek trickling ever so slightly a you swing in the hammock and watch the wildlife and the stars. There was a beautiful fishing pond so bring your poles and worms as the fish are biting.

I participated in a 3-day yoga retreat at Mountain Ridge, and I can't imagine a more beautiful, peaceful, or inspiring location for meditation and spiritual invigoration.

My wife and I spent a week here last summer, and it was an unforgettable respite from the heat of Phoenix. Thanks so much to Gaby for her hospitality.

There is so much to do at Mountain Ridge, from hiking to biking to fishing, that you have to remind yourself that you're here to relax.
